About
Amélie Mélo //
After wandering between Montpellier and Castres, Chef Davy CARAVACA and his wife Edwige decided to open their own restaurant on February 14th, 2011. Passionate about cinema, as you will discover when you take a look at the decor, Amélie Mélo is a tribute to Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s film “Amélie Poulain”. Both are at the helm, one in the dining room and the other in the open kitchen, to be as close as possible to their guests and ensure you have a great time in a cozy atmosphere or on one of the most beautiful terraces in Castres overlooking the Agoût River. Proud to be from Castres, they will be delighted to inform you about local activities and walks in the surrounding area, even if the Montpellier region still holds a special place in their hearts…

The Charolaise 250g
An exceptional French meat, selected for its breed and quality, Charolaise and aged for a minimum of 5 weeks. Tender and with a hazelnut flavor. Served only blue or rare… Don’t challenge the Chef with a more cooked version!!! This meat is a pure delight, and it is recommended to order it when making a reservation!
La Pavlova
A signature dessert that customers have forbidden the Chef to remove. You can find it on the Weekend Menu all year round, but with different flavors depending on the season. Don’t leave Castres without trying it!
